Energy gels almost always come in sachets of laminated plastic that can't be recycled. You have to finish a sachet in one go, and after a long ride your jersey pocket is full of sticky wrappers.
With Reduro: one system to refill
The energy gel comes in a refill bottle. You decide how much you take along in your flask and take it in on the go as you need it. The Drink Mix also comes in a tub made from a single type of plastic. Stylishly finished and highly recyclable. That way all your carbohydrates come from one sustainable system.

Fill your flask
Dose energy gel from the refill bottle into your flask. The scale shows how much you take along: 30 ml is 20 g of carbohydrates, a full flask 100 g.
Take it along
The flask fits in your jersey pocket or running vest. Put Drink Mix in your bidon for extra carbohydrates and electrolytes.
Take it in as you need it
You decide when and how much energy gel you take in, matched to your effort. No more sachet you have to finish in one go.
Rinse and refill
